Nashua South football takes down Nashua North

Trevor Knight rushed for 125 yards and threw for another 101 to help the Nashua High School South football team to a 30-17 win over Nashua North at Stellos Stadium on Friday.
Knight ran for two touchdowns and connected on a 70-yard touchdown pass to Steven Choate that gave the Panthers (2-1 in Division I, 3-2 overall), the lead for good. All four of South's touchdowns came in the second quarter, as Dymier Hyde also had a 7-yard touchdown run, and finished the game with 113 yards on the ground.
North (1-3, 2-3) got 78 yards rushing and a touchdown from Gus Barroso, as his 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter gave the Titans their only lead. Kyle Regan caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Martin on the final play of the third quarter, and Regan also kicked a 30-yard field goal.
The Titans return to Stellos on Oct. 5, when they host Milford in a crossover game, while the Panthers head to Manchester Central, also on Oct. 5.
