B.J. Neverett [has decided to resign](http://www.nashuatelegraph.com/sportshighschoolsports/934108-221/south-coach-resigns.html?ref=nh-highschoolsports.com) as the head coach of the Nashua High School South baseball team, ending a coaching career that spanned 28 years in the district.

Neverett was the head coach of the Panthers for 17 years, leading them to four championship game appearances and two Class L titles - one in 2001 with a unified Nashua team, and another in 2005, the first year after the split.
