NASHUA - The Nashua High School North boys basketball team got out to a 12-3 lead in the first quarter and never looked back in a 49-28 win over Hollis Brookline on Saturday at the Chick-fil-A Holiday Basketball Tournament.

Jordan Lates scored 19 points for the Titans, giving him a three-game average of 21 points and a spot on the all-tournament team. Matt LaVallee scored 10 of his 12 points after halftime, as North led 21-13 at the break and went on a 15-2 run to start the second half.
Riley Hamel led the Cavaliers with six points, while Cole Gallant and Logan Blake each had four points. None of HB's starters played in the second half.
The Cavs return to their regular-season schedule on Jan. 3 when they host Pelham. North is off until Jan. 6, when the Titans travel to Salem.
