The Broncos have the talent to perhaps pull off a first-round upset, but not necessarily against the Titans. North has won nine games in a row and has arguably one of the best scoring trios in the division in Nate Hale, Ronnie Silva and Alonzo Linton. - **No. 9 Manchester Memorial (11-7) at No. 8 Nashua South (11-7):** Anyone who enjoyed last Tuesday's game between the Crusaders and Panthers is in luck. South pulled out a 68-60 win on the road last week, which helped the Panthers, who were 3-6 away from South, get a home playoff game. Expect a lot of points again in this one, as South averages 62.7 per game, and Memorial is even better at 75.3\. But the Crusaders allowed 78.4 in their final five games, going 1-4. - **No. 13 Spaulding (6-12) at No. 4 Exeter (13-5):** Another game between teams that played last week, Exeter was able to escape with an 11-point win over Spaulding. That win clinched a top-four seed for the Blue Hawks, who lost by 15 points at Bedford in the regular-season finale. The 47 points Exeter scored in that game was its lowest total of the season. Spaulding looked like it would finish 15th or 16th for most of the year, but a three-game winning streak in mid-March vaulted the Red Raiders into a four-way tie, and they won the tiebreaker. - **No. 12 Bishop Guertin (7-11) at No. 5 Merrimack (12-6):** An intriguing first-round matchup, given that the Cardinals defeated the Tomahawks 66-49 back in early January. But that game was at Bishop Guertin, in front of a rowdy pro-Cardinals' crowd. Wednesday's game will be at Merrimack, where the Tomahawks were 7-2 this year and allowed 48.9 points per game. - **No. 15 Trinity (6-12) at No. 2 Pinkerton (14-4), 6:30 p.m.:** Trinity ended a seven-game losing streak by beating Concord in its regular-season finale. If that gives the Pioneers momentum against Pinkerton may not mean much. The Astros were cruising through the regular season, but went 3-3 in their final six games, including losses in their last two. Pinkerton did win the regular season meeting by 14 points on Feb. 16. - **No. 10 Londonderry (10-8) at No. 7 Winnacunnet (12-6):** These teams met when the Lancers were in the midst of perhaps the toughest stretch for any team in the state. Londonderry pulled out a two-point win over the Warriors on Jan. 29 for its only win during a seven-game stretch. Since then, the Lancers have won six of seven, with the only loss a two-point defeat at North. Winnacunnet has also played well of late, going 5-1 down the stretch, with the lone loss a three-point setback against Manchester Central. - **No. 14 Keene (6-12) at No. 3 Manchester Central (14-4), 6:30 p.m.:** It's been over two months since the Little Green went West and handed the Blackbirds a two-point loss, Keene's first of the season. Before that game, Keene was 3-0 and its gone 3-12 since. That was one of eight games decided by seven points or less for Keene. Central went 9-0 at home this season, winning by an average of 16.5 points per game. - **No. 11 Salem (9-9) at No. 6 Bedford (12-6):** The Bulldogs won the regular-season meeting by 13 points, but that game was on Jan. 8 and the Blue Devils have been a different team down the stretch run. Salem has won six of eight, with the losses coming at Keene and at Winnacunnet on a the buzzer-beater that didn't happen. Bedford has also played well down the stretch, going 5-1 to finish the season, averaging 62.7 points per game. **First-round winners:** Nashua North, Pinkerton, Manchester Central, Exeter, Merrimack, Nashua South, Londonderry, Salem. **Final four:** Nashua North, Pinkerton, Manchester Central, Merrimack. **Championship:** Nashua North over Pinkerton. ### Playoff schedule - Preliminary round, March 9, at higher seed. - Quarterfinals, March 12, at higher seed. - Semifinals, March 16, at UNH. - Championships, March 19, at UNH.
