Milford one of 64 teams competing for virtual basketball title

The Milford High School boys basketball team has won back-t0-back championships on the court against its New Hampshire foes.
But how do the Spartans measure up against the rest of the nation in a virtual basketball tournament?
The answer will come some time in April, after HighSchoolSports.net and USA Today announced on Tuesday that Milford will be one of 64 boys basketball teams chosen to participate in its Massey Virtual National Championship. The brackets were posted at HighSchoolSports.net on March 31 and the boys and girls winners will be announced at noon on April 12.
Milford is a 13-seed in the East Region, facing No. 4 Mount Vernon (N.Y.) in the first round.
Voting will also take place for a Massey People’s Champion. Fans will be allowed to vote and the team with the most votes will receive $250 toward its athletic department. Voting can be done here.
