# Milford beats Portsmouth to finish season undefeated

DURHAM - Mike O'Loughlin scored 18 points and Jamie Holder added 14 to lead the Milford High School boys basketball team to a 48-42 win over Portsmouth in the Division II championship game Saturday afternoon at the University of New Hampshire.

It was the second straight title for the top-seeded Spartans (22-0), and Milford finished the season undefeated for the first time in program history. It's also the fourth boys basketball championship in school history.

Kyle Nelson added eight points and Mike Mitchell had six points and four assists as the Spartans led throughout. O'Loughlin also had seven rebounds and nine steals before fouling out in the final seconds of the game.

But by the time that happened, Milford already had the game in hand.

Kamahl Walker led Portsmouth with 11 points and Gregg Tsougranis added 10 points for the Clippers (18-4).
