Merrimack's Coffey named New Hampshire's Gatorade Girls Volleyball Player of the Year

Jen Coffey, a senior from Merrimack High School, was named Gatorade's Girls Volleyball Player of the Year from New Hampshire.

Coffey, a three-year varsity starter for the Tomahawks, helped lead the team to a 22-0 record this season and its first Division I championship since 2000. This season, Coffey recorded 366 kills and 244 digs, and finished the year hitting .494 to go with a kill percentage of .580.

Coffey also holds the school record career kills, finishing with 950. She recently signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Quinnipiac University.
