# Merrimack player, coach earn top volleyball honors

The Merrimack High School volleyball team had a season to remember, and the Tomahawks were rewarded for it.

Merrimack's Maggie Kenney was named the Division I Player of the Year and coach Tammy Lambrou was named Coach of the Year after the led the Tomahawks (20-2) to the division championship game, where they fell to Hollis/Brookline (20-2).

Kenney was one of three Merrimack players to receive all-state honors, while H/B - which won its first Division I title - had three players named all-state.

In Division II, Bedford coach Emma Carole was named Coach of the Year after leading the Bulldogs to a 14-4 record and the division quarterfinals. The Bulldogs also had two players receive all-state honors.

### Division I

**Player of the Year:** Maggie Kenney, Merrimack.

**Coach of the Year:** Tammy Lambrou, Merrimack.

**JV Coach of the Year:** Sarah Stank, Goffstown.

**First team:** Natalie Wingate, Bishop Guertin; Rebecca Noyes, Bishop Guertin; Molly Wotton, Dover; Jess Williamson, Goffstown; Kelsey Berry, Hollis/Brookline; Maggie Kenney, Merrimack; Emily Boots, Nashua North; Brenna McNally, Pinkerton; Jackie Cone, Salem.

**Second team:** Laina Somero, Alvirne; Abigail Leberman, Concord; Abby Harte, Dover; Cassy deRochemont, Exeter; Kristyn Glover, Hollis/Brookline; Catherine Kazazian, Merrimack; Bridget McCarthy, Nashua North; Nicole Marcotte, Nashua South; Riley McKechnie, Pinkerton.

**Honorable mention:** Gav Risman-Jones, Goffstown; Ari Creighton, Hollis/Brookline; Bree McCarthy, Merrimack; Steph Long, Salem; Jaden Evans, Spaulding; Michelle Davis, Winnacunnet.

**Player of the Year:** Olivia Broderick, Gilford.

**Coach of the Year:** Emma Carole, Bedford.

**JV Coach of the Year:** Krystal D’Orioro, Laconia.
