Eric Fairweather, a senior from Londonderry High School, has been named Gatorade's Football Player of the Year for New Hampshire.

Eric Fairweather, a senior from Londonderry High School, has been named Gatorade's Football Player of the Year for New Hampshire.
Fairweather, a two-way player who started at quarterback and defensive back, helped lead the Lancers to an 8-2 record and a spot in the Division I South Conference title game.
Fairweather rushed for 1,245 yards and 19 touchdowns and also completed 62 of 133 pass for another 1,225 and 11 touchdowns, and on defense, the senior recorded 25 tackles and had five interceptions. He was also named to the all-conference first team twice.
