Kelly, Jordan receive boys lacrosse player of the year honors

Bishop Guertin's Erik Kelly and Souhegan's Stephen Jordan led 33 area players on the high school boys lacrosse all-state teams.
Kelly was named the Division I Offensive Player of the Year, helping the Cardinals win their second-straight division title. Jordan received Division II Defensive Player of the Year honors after getting the Sabers to the division final.
Nashua North's Keith Bertran and Nashua South's Bill Monson shared Division I Coach of the Year honors.
Joining Kelly on the Division I first team were teammates Paul Spinney, Matt Thistle, Bob Fahey, Jay Kryzston, Brody Smith and Colin Delea. Also receiving first-team honors was Nashua North's Marc Lavine.
Earning second-team honors were Bishop Guertin's Blake Boudreau, Casey Burnett and Kyle Karaska, Nashua South's Matt Auger and Tim Croteau of Nashua North. Nashua South's Jonah Soucy, Nashua North's Alex Flynn and Bishop Guertin's Peter Fucci received honorable mention.
Jordan was joined on the Division II first team by teammate Brendan Laine, along with Bedford's Connor Sullivan, Nate Larrivee and Austin Lauzier and Merrimack's Jim Bigwood. Second-team honors went to Brian Bzik of Bedford and Mike VanSickle and Zadek Burstein of Souhegan.
Hollis/Brookline had seven players receive Division III all-state honors, including Kyle Moynihan, Zach Rotkiewicz and Brandon Rocha, who were named to the first team.
Al Burgin, Connor Walsh and Alvaro Guzman received second-team honors, while teammate Matt Grant was named honorable mention. Milford's Harrison Urda was also named honorable mention.
