# Keene climbs up to No. 2 in this week's New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Field Hockey Coaches Poll

After spending the last three weeks in the same spot, the Keene High School field hockey team moved up a spot to No. 2 in this week's New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll.

Bedford was No. 1 for the seventh straight week, getting nine first-place votes, while Keene grabbed one first-place vote and moved ahead of Londonderry for the second spot in the top 10.

The Lancers dropped to No. 3 while Winnacunnet and Pinkerton traded spots. The Warriors moved up to No. 4 and the Astros dropped to No. 5.

Souhegan remained at No. 6 and Dover at No. 7 for the second week in a row while Timberlane moved up one spot to No. 8.

Bow moved into the poll for the first time this season, taking the No. 9 spot, while Oyster River moved down one position to round out the top 10.

Here is the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Field Hockey Coaches Poll for this week. These are the top 10 field hockey teams in the state, with record, first-place votes/points (T=tie) and last week’s ranking.

1. Bedford (13-1-1), 9/99, 1st
2. Keene (12-1-1), 1/86, 3rd
3. Londonderry (12-2), 81, 2nd
4. Winnacunnet (10-2-2), 76, 5th
5. Pinkerton (10-4), 63, 4th
6. Souhegan (12-1-1), 42, 6th
7. Dover (10-4-1), 30, 7th
8. Timberlane (7-5), 17, 9th
9. Bow (12-1-2), 16, NR
10. Oyster River (11-2-1), 15, 8th

**Dropped Out:** John Stark.

**Others receiving votes:** John Stark (11-1-2), 17, 10th; Hollis Brookline (11-2-1), 6; Bishop Guertin (7-7), 5; Exeter (8-7), 4; Berlin (11-1-1), 3; Concord (6-6-2), 2; Salem (7-7), 1.

The coaches poll is voted on by field hockey coaches from around the state and members of the media. The poll will be updated every Monday throughout the regular season.
