Max Jacques set a rushing record and New Hampshire extended its winning streak over Vermont to 11 with a 45-21 win in the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl Saturday at Windsor (Vt.) High School.

Jacques, a Salem graduate, rushed for 265 yards and three touchdowns, breaking the previous record of 206 yards set by Plymouth's Mike Boyle in 2004. Bishop Guertin's Mike Kelly also had a 66-yard touchdown reception from Winnacunnet quarterback Stephen Cronan. Kelly finished with a 137 total yards on offense while the New Hampshire defense intercepted Vermont's Christian McCormick four times.
