# Hollis Brookline girls volleyball opens season with sweep of Manchester Central

The Hollis Brookline High School girls volleyball team started its Division I title defense with a 3-0 win over Manchester Central on Friday. Game scores were 25-6, 25-6 and 25-8.

Hannah Balfour led the way for the Cavaliers with 10 aces and 18 assists, while Kaleigh Whalen added seven aces and Taylor Hamel had six kills. Sammie Shepard chipped in with five digs and Kaitlyn Johnson had two blocks.
