Hollis Brookline boys soccer beats ConVal in overtime

The Hollis Brookline High School boys soccer team needed overtime to get its 11th win of the season Thursday, a 2-1 victory over ConVal.

Cole Owens got the Cavaliers (11-1 in Division II) on the board six minutes in, off an assist from Guillem Pujadas, but the Cougars (6-4-1) tied it up abut 20 minutes in on a goal by Max Sturges. Nate Sullivan got an assist on the play.

The teams were scoreless in the second, but Pujadas converted a pass from Nathan Rogers in the first minute of overtime to give HB the win.

Michael Pattelena made six saves for HB.
