When Bishop Guertin and Hanover play Thursday, it will wrapup the entire field of quarterfinalists for all three boys ice hockey divisions, which are scheduled to take place on Saturday. Two quarterfinal games in girls ice hockey will be held on Friday. Two teams, Hanover and Lebanon received byes into the semifinals. In all four divisions, last year's champion is still alive, including Pinkerton, the defending Division I champ, which beat Concord in a preliminary round game on Wednesday. ### Division I No. 7 Pinkerton doubled up No. 10 Concord, 8-4, on Wednesday to advance to the quarterfinals, where the Astros (11-8) will face No. 2 Manchester Central (14-4) on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at JFK Coliseum in Manchester. The other preliminary-round game will take place Thursday at Skate 3 in Tyngsborough, Mass., between No. 8 Bishop Guertin (8-9-1) and No. 9 Hanover (6-8-4). The winner of that game goes on to face No. 1 Manchester Memorial (14-4) at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, also at JFK. In other quarterfinal action, No. 6 Salem (10-6-2) will face No. 3 Londonderry (13-4-1) on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Salem ICENTER, while No. 4 St. Thomas (12-5-1) hosts No. 5 Trinity (11-5-2) at the Dover Ice Arena at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The quarterfinal winners advance to the semifinals, which will be held March 6 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. at JFK Coliseum. The final is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on March 9 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester. ### Division II Two preliminary-round games were held on Wednesday, with No. 7 Oyster River beating No. 10 Pembroke-Campbell, 8-2, and No. 8 Goffstown beating No. 9 Pelham-Windham, 6-1. Goffstown (11-7-1) will now face No. 1 Merrimack (16-2) in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. on Saturday at West Side Arena in Manchester. Oyster River (9-5-5) moves on to play No. 2 Spaulding (15-2-1) at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Rochester Arena. No. 3 Bedford (13-3-2) will host No. 6 Kingswood (11-7-1) at 11:30 a.m. at Sullivan Arena at St. Anselm College, while No. 4 Bow (11-3-4) hosts No. 5 Dover (11-6-1) at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Tri-Town Ice Arena in Hooksett. The quarterfinal winners advance to the semifinals, which are scheduled for March 6 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the Rinks at Exeter. The championship game will be held March 9 at 2:30 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena. ### Division III No. 1 Berlin (18-0) will begin its quest for an undefeated season on Saturday against No. 8 Portsmouth (6-12). The teams will play at 4 p.m. at the Notre Dame Arena in Berlin. No. 2 John Stark-Hopkinton (16-1-1) will face No. 7 Moultonborough-Inter-Lakes (9-8-1) in the quarterfinals on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Lee Clement Arena in Henniker. No. 3 Souhegan (13-5) will host No. 6 Hollis Brookline (10-8) at 2:40 p.m. on Saturday at Conway Arena in Nashua, while No. 4 Belmont-Gilford (12-6) will face No. 5 Kennett (10-8) at 6:15 p.m., also on Saturday, at the Laconia Ice Arena. All quarterfinal winners will play in the semifinals on March 6 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. at Everett Arena in Concord. The championship game is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. on March 9 at the Verizon Wireless Arena. ### Girls Two quarterfinal games will take place on Friday. No. 3 Oyster River (13-4-1) will host No. 6 St. Thomas-Dover (9-8-1) at 6:30 p.m. at Jackson's Landing in Durham, while No. 4 Bishop Guertin (12-5-1) will host No. 5 Berlin-Gorham (11-7) at 4 p.m. at Skate 3. The winner of Oyster River and St. Thomas-Dover will face No. 2 Lebanon (13-3-2) in the semifinals at 5:30 p.m. on March 5 at Everett Arena. Either Bishop Guertin or Berlin-Gorham will take on No. 1 Hanover (18-0) in the other semifinal at 7:30 p.m. on March 5, also at Everett Arena. The championship game is scheduled for March 9 at 10 a.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
