H/B girls roll into semifinals

Nina Hawxhurst scored three goals as 11 different players scored for the Hollis/Brookline High School girls lacrosse team on a 13-4 win over Plymouth in the Division III quarterfinals Wednesday.

Kati Sousa added a goal and two assists for the Cavaliers (13-0 in D-III, 13-1 overall), and Alicea Papineau had a goal and a helper.

The Cavs will face No. 4 Oyster River, which defeated No. 5 Pelham 16-10, in the semifinals at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.

Jennifer Naylor, Julie Worthern, Hanna Mazzola, Katie Ohara, Emily Lombardi, Emily Dutile, Caitlyn Sweeney and Bri Bruinooge each had a goal for H/B. Annabelle Eliopoulos had an assist and goalie Lorin Field made six saves in net.
