Goffstown boys soccer stuns Souhegan with late comeback

The Goffstown and Souhegan high school boys soccer teams played 70 minutes of scoreless soccer Friday before the sides erupted for three goals in nine minutes as the Grizzlies won 2-1 in Division II action.

The Sabers (1-1) took a 1-0 lead in the 70th minute, when Devan Casey's corner kick hit off a Goffstown player and went into the goal.

But Goffstown (1-1) regrouped and tied the game in the 77th minute on a goal by Peter Techowych. In the 79th minute, Jack Russo converted an assist from David Wright to give the Grizzlies the 2-1 win.
