# Goffstown boys soccer gets win over Souhegan

Brendan Pouliot scored in the 23rd minute to give the Goffstown High School boys soccer team a 1-0 win over Souhegan on Monday.

Henry Seibel made four saves to earn the shutout for the Grizzlies (5-4), and Riley Ellis got an assist on the goal.

Brendan Dix stopped five shots for the Sabers (5-4-2), who were coming of a scoreless tie against Lebanon, the top team in Division II. Souhegan held Goffstown to just nine shots, but the Grizzlies controlled the midfield in the first half.

Souhegan will host St. Thomas on Friday at 6 p.m., and during halftime, the Sabers will host their annual Soccer Tots show.
