# It's all about getting hot at the right time in D3 football

For the third time in the last four years, the team that entered the Division III playoffs as the top seed didn't finish in that spot when all was said and done.

In 2013, it was Bow that took down undefeated Pelham in the quarterfinals, on the way to the division title. Then it was Campbell's time to return the favor, taking out an undefeated Bow in the semifinals and knocking off Newport in the final.

Last year, it was Monadnock that finished the regular season undefeated before Stevens took out the Huskies, again in the semifinals, and then beat Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough in the final.

While someone will rise to the top of the division in the regular season, don't count out the team that gets hot in late October.

### Playoff Predicitions

The top two teams in each conference get the top seeds in the playoffs, based on rating. The next six best teams, based on rating, are seeded in the final six playoff spots.

**Remaining six:** Monadnock, Winnsiquam, Kearsarge, Newport, Somersworth, Epping-Newmarket.
