Four locals named to all-state first-teams

Over a dozen local players were selected to the NHBCO girls basketball all-state teams Sunday, including four who were named to the first-team of their respective divisions. Also earning honors was Campbell coach Sean Flynn, who was named the Division III Coach of the Year after leading the Cougars

Over a dozen local players were selected to the NHBCO girls basketball all-state teams Sunday, including four who were named to the first-team of their respective divisions.

Also earning honors was Campbell coach Sean Flynn, who was named the Division III Coach of the Year after leading the Cougars to their first title.

Merrimack's Rachel Carter and Alvirne's Deanna Purcell were both named to the Division I first-team, while Souhegan's Jane White and Christan Wojtas made the Division II first-team.
