The road to the football playoffs is simple this week for Bishop Guertin and Nashua North.

Win and you're in; lose and your fate is in another team's hands.

Both the Cardinals and the Titans just need to get a victory in their respective games Friday and Saturday, against Nashua South (2-6) and Keene (3-5), to earn postseason berths in the North/West conference cluster.

Goffstown (8-0) is already in regardless of what it does against Manchester Memorial (0-8) on Friday, as the Grizzlies clinched the North Conference title last weekend, and will host postseason games in the quarterfinals and semifinals, if they advance.

Bedford (7-1) has also clinched a spot. No matter what happens against Manchester Central (5-3) on Friday, the Bulldogs will be the No. 3 seed in the North/West cluster and will travel to face the winner of the West in the quarterfinals.

Who that will be is still up in the air, along with the team that will claim the fourth and final playoff spot.

### Bishop Guertin (5-3)

The Cardinals are in the driver's seat to win the West Conference and beating South on Friday would clinch the conference, the No. 2 seed and a quarterfinal against Bedford at Stellos Stadium on Nov. 7.

A loss doesn't necessarily derail a conference championship for Bishop Guertin, but it does leave even a playoff spot in jeopardy. If the Cardinals lose to South, and North loses to Keene, Bishop Guertin still wins the West.

If Bishop Guertin loses, North wins, and Centrals loses to Bedford, the Cardinals are the No. 4 seed and play at Goffstown. But if North and Central both win, and the Cardinals lose, they miss the postseason entirely.

### Nashua North (5-3)

A win over Keene gives the Titans, at worst, the fourth seed and a quarterfinal matchup at Goffstown on Nov. 7.

A loss means North would only get in if Central also loses to Bedford. Otherwise, the Titans would finish behind the Little Green and out of the postseason.

### Manchester Central (5-3)

Central needs to beat Bedford, but because it lost to both Bishop Guertin and North, it needs one or both of those teams to lose in order to make the postseason. A loss to Bedford eliminates Central from the postseason.
