Football Roundup: Week 4 (video)

AMHERST - Luke Fallon threw four touchdown passes to help the Souhegan High School football team get a 35-7 win over Manchester West on Friday.

Fallon was 11 of 12 passing for 254 yards to go with the four scores. One of those was an 81-yard scoring connection with Cole Brandt, who had four receptions for 128 yards.

Taven Beamer, Kobe Morin and Lucas Steckbeck each added a touchdown reception while Jacob Bryan ran for 91 yards and another score for the Sabers (4-0).

The Blue Knights (3-1) got 99 yards and a touchdown on the ground from Kingston Green while Manny Mendoza was 8 of 20 passing for 89 yards and an interception.

Pelham 53, Hollis Brookline 20

Luke Draper had almost four hundred total yards and scored five touchdowns to lead the Pythons to a win over the Cavaliers

Draper had 282 yards rushing, to go with the five scores, and added 108 yards in returns for Pelham (3-1). Ben Maslanek added 52 yards rushing and a touchdown while Cam Alves had 59 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Chase Bressette also had a rushing score and Kevin Clifton was 4 of 10 passing for 38 yards while Noah Johnson had 63 yards on offense.

Maslanek led the team with six tackles on defense while Nick Landry had four tackles and Dom Peranelli playd well.

Plymouth 28, Kingswood 7

The Knights got a 17-yard touchdown reception from Nolan Chominski to Dean Porter, but it wasn't enough against the Bobcats.

Chominski was 12 of 22 passing for 152 yards and a score, but also threw two interceptions. Porter ran for 49 yards and also caught six passes for 82 yards for Kingswood (2-2).

Bow 21, St. Thomas 18

Despute a big day from Brady McDonald and Bailey White, the Saints came up short against the Falcons.

McDonald was 19 of 26 passing for 202 yards with a touchdown and an interception, to go with a rushing touchdown. White caught seven passes for 114 yards and a touchdown and also caught a two-point conversion.

Cam Stowell had 10 tackles, with a sack and three tackles for loss, on defense while Parker Hamel had eight tackles and Brandon Skowron added seven tackles.

Lincoln Hydock added a 27-yard field goal for St. Thomas.

Merrimack Valley 15, Kennett 14

Cooper Coleman and Colin Smith each had a rushing touchdown but the Eagles came up short against the Pride.

Coleman ran for 75 yards and Smith added 51 yards on the ground while Marquis Twomey caught eight passes for 75 yards. Bowen Brown was 13 of 16 passes for 115 yards.

Nolan Needham led the Kennett (1-3) defense with 15 tackles and a forced fumble while Nate Johnston had 11 tackles and Lucca Piscatello had 10 tackles. Leeland Eastman added six tackles and recovered a fumble.

Division IV

Newport-Mount Royal 46, Hillsboro-Deering 14

Haven Porter scored both touchdowns for the Hillcats, but it wasn't enough against the Tigers.

Porter ran for 180 yards on 20 carries to go with the two scores while Jonathan King added 101 yards on 14 carries.

Keagan Lamos-Garon led the defense with seven tackles and blocked an extra point. Dominic Robinson added four tackles and Conor Dumais had three tackles and recovered a fumble.

Division I

No. 1 Bishop Guertin 53, Merrimack 8

Nate Bowen threw for three more touchdown passes Friday night as the Cardinals overcame a slow start to beat the Tomahawks.

Bowen was 15 of 23 for 185 yards passing, with two scoring passes to Jake Bowen (six receptions, 77 yards) and another to Daunte Sisay. Rocco Roy added five catches for 58 yards while John Kirk ran for two scores.

Will Adams (107 yards rushing) and Logan Curran (64) also had a touchdown apiece for the Cardinals (4-0). Jackson Humphrey added a defensive touchdown to go with four tackles.

Andre Steinbrueck led the defense with three tackles and Bishop Kearns and Ryan Staples each had a sack.

No. 8 Windham 21, No. 6 Salem 7

Jackson Wright threw for a touchdown and ran for another to lead the Jaguars past the Blue Devils.

Wright was 18 of 26 passing for 212 yards and a touchdown pass to Chris Boyd (three receptions, 39 yards) and had a touchdown run in the fourth quarter to put the game away. Mike Brearley added 112 yards on the ground and a score while Alex Blanco had six catches for 78 yards for Windham (3-1).

Adrian Bergman had tackles on defense and an interception to help set up Wright's touchdown run. Joey Estrell and Brooks Batson had seven tacklies apiece.

Bedford 41, Goffstown 10

Bryce D'Urso ran for 129 yards and scored a touchdown on a interception return to help get the Bulldogs into the win colimn against the Grizzlies.

Drew Burnett added two touchdown runs and had 44 yards rushing while Winston Huynh ran for 37 yards and a touchdown and caught a 29-yard scoring pass from Parker Beauchemin for Bedford (2-2)

Beauchemin also ran for a touchdown and was 4 of 9 passing for 70 yards and ran for another 21 yards.

Goffstown (1-3) got a 48-yard touchdown pass from Connor Hofstetter to Nick Cote in the third quarter. Max Pliakos added a 28-yard field goal for the Grizzlies.

Nashua South 39, Nashua North 34

The Panthers picked up their first win of the season by winning a shootout with the Titans.

South (1-3) put up 550 yards of offense, with Eric Baker leading the way with 261 yards and four touchdowns on the ground to go with two catches for 53 yards.

CJ Goss was 8 of 13 passing for 154 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions. Justin Fish added 72 yards and a score on the ground while catching two passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.

Brady O'Connor led North (2-2) by completing 17 of 25 passes for 243 yards and four touchdowns to go with three interceptions.

Dover 39, Keene 22

The Green Wave jumped out to a big lead and the Blackbirds weren't able to come back.

Whitman Conboy was 16 of 24 passing for 170 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Thomas Crowell (five catches, 62 yards) and Seth Clark (two, 25) each had a touchdown catch while Mason Ward ran for 84 yards and a score for Keene (0-4).

Ben King led Dover (1-3) with 182 yards and two touchdowns on the ground while Parker Ketcham was 6 of 9 for 94 yards passing and two scores while also returning an interception 59-yards for a score on defense.

Logan Burton and King had touchdown receptions for the Green Wave and Braeden St. Laurent ran for a score.
