Five Cardinals land on Division II football first team

Five members of the Bishop Guertin High School football team were named to the Division II all-state first team, but the Cardinals didn't have the most.

Winnacunnet landed eight players on the first team, while Dover had seven players receive the division's highest honor. In all, the Warriors and the Cardinals had 15 players each receive all-state honors, while Merrimack had 12 players named all-state, including three first-teamers, and Alvirne had three players make all-state.
