Lebanon's Moriah Morton is one of six finalists for the Queen of New Hampshire High School Basketball.

Here are the six finalists for the second Queen of New Hampshire High School Basketball. All are worthy candidates for the crown, but only one will win. To find out who it is, tune in to the New Hampshire High School Sports Show on WGIR AM 610 and 96.7 “The Wave.”

To find out who the finalists are (listed in alphabetical order), go to the jump.

### McKenzie Brown, Bedford

Brown is a junior who creates matchup problems for almost any team. With her height, she can play in side, but is also a deadly shooter from the outside. Helped Bedford to a 20-2 record in its first season in Division I along with its first division championship. The Bulldogs twice defeated defending-champion Bishop Guertin, including a win in the title game. Brown was also named to the division second team.

### Meghan Green, Bishop Guertin

Green's list of accomplishments is a long one, including winning this award as a junior. This year, the senior was also named Miss New Hampshire Basketball and the Division I Player of the Year by the New Hampshire Basketball Coaches Organization. The Cardinals advanced to the Division I championship game for the second year in a row, but fell short, losing to Bedford by a point. Green is only one of four girls players in state history to record over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career. She has signed to play basketball at Boston University.

### Moriah Morton, Lebanon

After coming close as a sophomore and a junior, Morton helped the Raiders go undefeated (22-0) and win the Division II championship this season. The senior was named the Division II Player of the Year and won the Girls Jack Ford Award, and Morton scored her 1,000th career point in a win over Hanover on Feb. 6\. Morton, who is the Division II record holder in the javelin, will compete on the track team at Dartmouth College.

### Lindsey Nerbonne, Bow

Nerbonne helped lead the Falcons to their first basketball title since 2000, as Bow won 21 straight games to end the season. A senior, Nerbonne was the Division III Player of the Year and scored her 1,000th career point during the regular season while helping Bow win a defensive battle over White Mountains, 29-17, in the championship game. Nerbonne will play field hockey at Syracuse next year.

### Aliza Simpson, Londonderry

Simpson helped the Lancers reach the championship game a year ago and got Londonderry to the final four this season. In the quarterfinals against Nashua North, Simpson scored 30 points to get her team to the semifinals. A junior, Simpson was also named to the Division I first team.

### Madison Springfield, Conant

The latest player in a long line of Springfields, Madison Springfield started her high school career by helping the Orioles earn the No. 1 seed in Division III and reach the final. Just a freshman, Springfield received Division III first-team honors, and averaged better than 20 points per game this season.

**How the voting was done:** Members of the media (listed below) selected their top six players, assigning them a ranking of one through six. A first-place vote got six points, second place got five points and so on down to sixth place, which got one point. A complete list of points will be revealed on Saturday after the winners have been announced.
