# Field for Legion tournament set

The New Hampshire American Legion baseball tournament will open on Friday at Holman Stadium, and this year, the hometown team will be participating.

Nashua Coffey Post 3 finished the regular season with a 12-3 record to win District B-1, and will host this year's tournament after missing out on playing at Holman a year ago. Post 3 will take on Sweeney Post 2 (10-6), which finished second in District A-1, at 7 p.m. Friday night.

The tournament will open with two teams that have to travel a long way Friday morning, as Lebanon Post 22 (7-7) will face Dover Post 8 (14-2) at 9 a.m. That game will be followed by Bedford Post 54 (11-4) and Rochester Post 7 (14-2) at noon. Concord Post 21 (14-2) will take on Goffstown Post 16 (9-5) at 4 p.m.

The tournament continues at 9 a.m. on Saturday and will run through Tuesday. The winner will advance to the Northeast Region 1 tournament at The BallPark at Old Orchard Beach, Maine, starting Aug. 4.
