Dozen locals named to New Hampshire Shrine football team

The New Hampshire roster for the Shrine Mape Sugar Bowl has been released, and of the 35 players on the roster, 12 are from eight area teams.

Bishop Guertin, Milford, Nashua North and Souhegan each had two players chosen for the team, as did Pinkerton, Salem, Dover, Keene, Kearsarge, Laconia and Lebanon.

The game is scheduled for Aug. 6 at Windsor (Vt.) High School, with practices beginning on July 28 at Kimball Union Academy in Meriden.
