The ConVal High School girls volleyball team won the first game, and kept things close in the next three, but it wasn't enough in a 3-1 loss to Manchester West on Monday.
The Blue Knights took the match, 20-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-18, hanging on in the fourth game after leading by as many as 10 (15-5).
For ConVal, Aidan Dissinger had 20 digs, five aces, two kills and eight service receptions. Allie MacPhee added six kills and Mandy Anderson had four aces, 11 service receptions, eight digs and seven kills.
