ConVal football sets program mark for wins in victory over Pelham

The ConVal High School football team knocked off Pelham 42-7, setting a program record for most wins in a season.

Danny Parker led the way for the Cougars (6-1), returning the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown, and finishing with 277 all-purpose yards - 116 rushing, 37 receiving, 130 returns - and three touchdowns.

Keenan Wilson, making his first start at quarterback, completed 13 of 20 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns. Liam Baldwin, Isaac Bacon and Trevor Hanley each scored for ConVal.

Clayton Coons led the defense with 12 tackles while Andrew Stockwell had eight tackles - four for loss - and two sacks and Jake Phillips added nine tackles.
