ConVal football falls to Sanborn

The ConVal High School football team dropped its fourth in a row Friday night, falling to Sanborn 31-7 in Division II action.

The Cougars (1-4) took a 7-0 lead early, and the game was tied 7-7 at halftime before the Indians (1-3) broke the game open in the second half.

Jon Byam led ConVal with almost two hundred total yards and had nine tackles on defense. Brandon Carland had 15 tackles for the Cougars and Danny Parker had over a hundred yards rushing and receiving.
