# ConVal football cruises past Trinity

The ConVal High School football got out to a huge lead in the first half against Trinity and never looked back Friday night, beating the Pioneers 55-21 in a Division II South Conference game.

The Cougars (4-1) led 48-0 in the first half, as Danny Parker had two touchdowns on offense and two interceptions, including a pick-6, on defense. Dan Spezzaferri was 8 of 11 passing for 170 yards and four touchdowns, with two going to Liam Baldwin (75 yards receiving) and one to Isaac Bacon (80 yards).

Also playing well defensively was Dan Curran, who had eight tackles, two for loss; Hunter Gullage, who had four tackles, an interception and broke up two more passes; and Ian Labelle, who had six tackles.
