ConVal boys soccer opens year with win over Goffstown

Jordan Coopers' goal in 72nd minute was the difference as the ConVal High School boys soccer team defeated Goffstown 1-0 in the Division II opener for both teams.

Noah Bell earned the shutout in goal for the Cougars (1-0), including a couple of big saves in the first half.

On the game-winner, Noah Cail started the play with a pass to Nile Hertzler, who quickly got the ball to Cooper, who found the far side of the net for the goal.
