Chick-Fil-A Holiday Tournament will feature boys and girls basketball teams

Basketball fans in Greater Nashua will be getting a few more games to watch during the holiday break.

This year's Chick-Fil-A Holiday Basketball Tournament will not only feature the usual eight-team field of boys teams, but a six-team girls tourney, all of which will be held at Nashua High School South from Dec. 28-30.

On the boys side, the same eight teams from a year ago return, with Merrimack trying to defend its title from 2015. Also in the tournament are Nashua North, Nashua South, Alvirne, Souhegan, Milford, Goffstown and Thornton Academy from Sacco, Maine.

On the girls side, Nashua North and Nashua South will be joined by Milford, Souhegan, Goffstown and Alvirne.

Games begin at 10:45 a.m. on Dec. 28 at Nashua South. Following is the complete schedule of games.
