The Hollis/Brookline High School girls lacrosse team fell in a non-divisional game against Pinkerton 13-3 on Thursday.

The Astros (10-3 in Division I) jumped out to a 6-0 lead before halftime and held on to hand the Cavaliers (12-0 in Division III) their first loss of the season.

Alicia Papineau had a goal and an assist for the Cavs, while Kati Sousa and Jess Frick also scored. Lorin Field made nine saves.

H/B will open the Division III playoffs on June 2.
