NASHUA - The Hollis/Brookline High School girls lacrosse team picked up its first win as a member of Division I, beating Nashua South 13-5 Wednesday in the rain at Stellos Stadium.

Nina Hawxhurst led the Cavaliers (1-0) with five goals and an assist and Hanna Mazzola added two goals and an assist.

Katie O'Hara, Caitlin Sweeney and Leda Kennedy each had a goal and an assist for H/B, while Jen Naylor, Katie Tighe and Shannon Lavery each had a goal. Julie Worthern and Annabelle Eliopoulos had an assist apiece and goalie Erin Turner made three saves.

South (0-2) got two goals each from Mikayla Feehan and Lauren Lambalot. San Pham also had a goal and Caitlin Ackerman added an assist.
