# Cards place nine on Division II first team

For the fourth straight year, the Bishop Guertin High School football team finished on top of Division II. The Cardinals were rewarded again for their season with a division-best nine players on the first team.

In all, Bishop Guertin had 14 players receive Division II all-state honors. Merrimack had six players receive Division II honors, including two on the first team, while Alvirne had three players named to the teams, including one first-teamer.
