Note: With the NHIAA’s new 70-percent rule in place for the postseason, Division II girls basketball will have 16 playoff teams. Standings based off results reported to NHIAA.org and other media outlets.

Rising: Since its only loss of the season to Hollis Brookline on Jan. 4, Portsmouth has won six games in a row to move up to second in the standings. The last five of those wins have been against playoff teams.

Falling: Merrimack Valley has alternated wins and losses in its last six games, dropping the Pride down to the eighth spot in the standings.

Tiebreakers

  • Portsmouth wins the tiebreaker over Pelham thanks to a better quality of wins against tournament teams.
  • Hanover wins the tiebreaker over Hollis Brookline thanks to a better rating against tournament teams.
