It’s a little more than four weeks until the start of the girls basketball postseason in New Hampshire, so here is a look at where each team stands and who is in and who is out in Division II.

*Note: With the NHIAA’s new 70-percent rule in place for the postseason, Division II girls basketball will have 16 playoff teams. Standings based off results reported to NHIAA.org and other media outlets.*

### Division II

**Playoff field**

1. Lebanon (8-0, 4.0000). Last week: No. 1.
2. Portsmouth (9-1, 3.6000). Last week: No. 5.
3. Pelham (9-1, 3.6000). Last week: No. 2.
4. Bishop Brady (8-1, 3.5556). Last week: No. 4.
5. Hanover (7-2, 3.1111). Last week: No. 7.
6. Hollis Brookline (7-2, 3.1111). Last week: No. 3.
7. Bow (6-2, 3.0000). Last week: No. 8.
8. Merrimack Valley (8-3, 2.9091). Last week: No. 6.

**Rising:** Since its only loss of the season to Hollis Brookline on Jan. 4, Portsmouth has won six games in a row to move up to second in the standings. The last five of those wins have been against playoff teams.

**Falling:** Merrimack Valley has alternated wins and losses in its last six games, dropping the Pride down to the eighth spot in the standings.

**Tiebreakers**

- Portsmouth wins the tiebreaker over Pelham thanks to a better quality of wins against tournament teams.
- Hanover wins the tiebreaker over Hollis Brookline thanks to a better rating against tournament teams.

**First-round games**
