# Bracketology: Division I girls basketball (Feb. 10)

It’s a little more than two weeks until the start of the girls basketball postseason in New Hampshire, so here is a look at where each team stands and who is in and who is out in Division I.

*Note: With the NHIAA’s new 70-percent rule in place for the postseason, Division I girls basketball will have 12 playoff teams. Standings based off results reported to NHIAA.org and other media outlets.*

### Division I

**Playoff field**

1. Bedford (14-1, 3.7333)
2. Pinkerton (12-1, 3.6923)
3. Bishop Guertin (11-1, 3.6667)
4. Alvirne (10-2, 3.3333)
5. Londonderry (7-5, 2.3333)

**Outside:** Exeter (4-8, 1.3333); Trinity (4-9, 1.2308); Keene (4-9, 1.2308); Concord (2-10, 0.6667); Nashua South (2-12, 0.5714); Spaulding (1-13, 0.2857).

**Tiebreakers**

- Nashua North wins the tiebreaker with Winnacunnet thanks to a head-to-head victory over the Warriors.
- Salem wins the tiebreaker with Merrimack thanks to a better rating against tournament teams.
- Dover wins the tiebreaker with Manchester Memorial thansk to a head-to-head victory over the Crusaders.

**Rising:** Pinkerton has won six games in a row since its only loss of the season, to move up to the second spot in the standings.

**Falling:** Trinity continued its slide after starting the year 4-2, as the Pioneers have lost seven in a row to fall out of a playoff spot.

**First-round byes**

- No. 1 Bedford
