# Bishop Guertin wins first boys tennis title since 1996

The Bishop Guertin High School boys tennis team [took care of business in the singles matches](http://www.nashuatelegraph.com/sportshighschoolsports/921211-221/cards-cruise-to-d-i-boys-tennis-title.html?ref=nh-highschoolsports.com) and defeated Exeter 7-2 Tuesday to win the Division I title.

The fifth-seeded Cardinals (14-3) [won five of six singles matches](http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/20110601-SPORTS-106010376?ref=nh-highschoolsports.com) to capture their first title in 15 years, beating an Exeter team that they had lost to, 5-4, during the regular season.

Andrew Xiao, Chris Prothro, Anthony Delpizzo, Aaron Wang and Chris Dicesare all won their singles matches for Bishop Guertin, and the Cardinals also won two doubles matches to finish off the win.
