Bedford wrestling picks up win over Winnacunnet in dual meet

The Bedford High School wrestling improved to 3-0 in dual meets this season, beating Winnacunnet 54-24 on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs won eight matches by recording a pin, including Eric Cooper's win in overtime at 152 pounds.

Also getting wins for Bedford were Matt Houston (220), Josh Belz (120), Ben Gilman (126), Chris Conery (138), Sam Kollmorgen (145), Mike Galinat (182) and Erik Falkengren (195).

The win comes after Bedford defeated Manchester Central 55-20 last Saturday. The Bulldogs also beat Merrimack in their season opener.

Bedford will travel to Bow for the holiday invitational tournament on Saturday.
