# Around the Granite State: Winnacunnet field hockey pulls away late against Bishop Guertin (video)

NASHUA - The Winnacunnet High School field hockey team broke open a close game in the fourth quarter Tuesday to get a 5-0 win over Bishop Guertin.

The Warriors (9-0, No. 1 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll) scored four times in the final quarter, including two in the first four minutes, to put the game away.

Sofia Donatelli and Megan Kelly had two goals apiece and Fiona McAfee had a goal and two assists. McKinley Fowler also had two assists for Winnacunnet and Riley Gigalis had nine saves. 

Emma Smith finished with nine saves for the Cardinals (4-5-1) while Sophia Harrington, Grace Spengler and Ava Brennan played well. 

**Goffstown 3, Salem 2**

Stella Enman scored the game-winning goal with 6:50 left to give the Grizzlies the win over the Blue Devils. 

Maeve Hammond and Meredith Twomey also had a goal apiece, as they both scored in the third quarter to give Goffstown (3-6-2) a 2-0 lead. Trinity Lunn and Madigan Buckley each had an assist and Hope Moulton had 11 saves. 

Penny Ammon had a goal and an assist for Salem (1-11) while Lia Bokuniewicz also scored and Aishu Rangarajan had an assist. Ammon scored to tie the game with 8:15 remaining. 

Bradley Thompson and Avery Condon had a defensive save a piece and Nathalia Garcia had 14 saves. 

**No. 3 Souhegan 2, No. 5 Bow 0**

The Sabers scored twice in the second half to beat the Falcons in a rematch of last year's D2 championship game. 

Ella Russell and Eme Goden scored less than two minutes apart at the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarters, respectively. Ori Dart assited on both goals for Souhegan (9-0-2). 

Aubrey Merrill finished with 11 saves for Bow (9-1).

**Mascoma Valley 4, Newport 2**

Tory Petty had a hat trick to help lead the Royals to a win over the Tigers. 

Paeyent Clement also had a goal in the fourth quarter to put the game away for Mascoma Valley (4-6). Avaleigh Clarke played well defensively and Avery Peck was strong in the midfield in the win.
