Around the Granite State: Weekend Roundup
Bella Pelletier and Gracie Bolduc scored two goals a piece to help lead the John Stark Regional High School field hockey team to a 5-0 win over Merrimack Valley on Saturday.
Courtney Cranshaw also scored her first varsity goal in the win while Linsey Hagman had two assists and Bolduc, Cranshaw and Aubrey Fischer also had an assist each. Helen Connor earned the shutout in goal.
Goffstown 2, Derryfield 0
The Grizzlies picked up a win over the Cougars behind goals by Bethany Dubreuil and Savannah Bergeron. Grace Murphy and Jaiden Lacerte led the defense, which didn't allow a shot on goal.
Londonderry 2, Nashua South 0
The Panthers fell to the Lancers despite getting eight saves from goalie Kaitlyn Tello. Maren Lowell, Soleil Dubois, Olivia Laro and Kaitlyn West played well for South.
Exeter 4, Keene 0
The Blackbirds fell to the Blue Hawks, with goalie Bella Venezia making 18 saves. Avery Allaire also played well defensive, making two stops of her own.
Gilford 2, Bishop Brady 1
The Golden Eagles won a battle of Division III unbeatens, besting the Giants on a goal by Shea Brown with 4:53 left in the game.
Aly Pichette also scored for Gilford while Libbey Hicks had the lone goal for Bishop Brady.

Bedford 3, Hollis Brookline 0
The Cavaliers suffered their first loss of the season, falling to the Bulldogs by scores of 25-20, 25-20 and 25-16.
Meaghan Coutu had nine kills for HB (4-1) while Cheyenne Colbert and Annette Schlunk each had seven kills. Sophia Jordan added 30 assists.
Epping 3, Raymond 0
The Blue Devils improved to 4-1 with a sweep of the Rams. Scores were 25-8, 25-20 and 25-12.
Pacy Morgado had seven aces, three kills, three digs and four assists to lead Epping. Gracie Re added six aces, two kills, five digs and one assist and Kate Chapman had one ace, four kills, one dig and one block.
Portsmouth Christian 3, Sunapee 0
The Eagles picked up a road win over the Lakers by scores of 25-23, 25-22 and 25-16.
Joey Skubisz had 11 kills, six aces and five digs while Maddy Kniphfer had 18 assists and five aces. Madelyn Hardy had four kills and Liahna Messier had 13 aces. Emily Esters added nine digs and Michaela Overhulser had two blocks.
