# Around the Granite State: Weekend Roundup

The Concord High School field hockey team battled through the cold and a few injuries to pick up a 3-1 win over Keene on Friday in a Division I game.

Kait McKinnon had two goals to lead the way for the Crimson Tide, who improved to 8-3 on the year. The Blackbirds fell to 3-7.

**Derryfield 3, Plymouth 0**

The Bobcats played well defensively, but two goals from Lindsey Stagg - one in the final 10 minutes of each half - helped give the Cougars the win in a Division II game on Friday.

Derryfield (10-0-1) had 14 penalty corners and scored on three of them. Emma Webster and Holly Hoyt played well for Plymouth (4-6).

### Girls Volleyball

**Hollis Brookline 3, Manchester Memorial 0**

The Cavaliers improved to 11-0 in Division I with a sweep of the Crusaders (1-11) on Friday. Game scores were 25-12, 25-18 and 25-21.

Sarah Dreyer had nine kills for HB and Jessica Cooper added six aces and six digs. Maren Anderson had five kills and Ellie Jordan recorded three aces and five digs.

**Timberlane 3, Bishop Guertin 0**

The Cardinals fell to 6-5 on the year after getting swept by the Owls (5-6) on Friday. Scores were 25-16, 25-13 and 25-20.

Meghan Stack had five kills for Bishop Guertin and Libby Knapp had six kills and five digs. Emma Charron recorded 10 digs and Alicia Glasheen had 11 assists.

### Boys Soccer

**Pelham 2, Souhegan 1**

Alex Gagnon scored in the 70th minute to give the Pythons the win over the Sabers in a Division II game on Saturday.

Gagnon had both goals for Pelham (3-6-1), as he put the Pythons up in the 16th minute on an unassisted goal. Rami Eid got the helper on the game-winner while Greg Niehalls made 10 saves.

Souhegan (1-8) got a goal from Mike Estabrook, as he converted a pass from Chris Weeden to tie the game in the 30th minutes. Jake Morrisette and Ryan Lockitt combined for five saves.
