# Around the Granite State: Weekend Roundup

The Nashua High School South field hockey team picked up its first win of the season, beating Salem 2-0 on Friday.

Maddie Sewade and Alex Elliott each had a goal for the Panthers (1-4), while Kirsten McIntire and Kaitlyn West each had an assist. Courtney Tello had 15 saves for South and Sarah Picard made a big play defensively that kept Salem from scoring early in the second half.

**Londonderry 3, Dover 1**

The Lancers scored three times Friday in the second half to beat the Green Wave and improve to 6-0 in Division I.

Courtney Shay had two goals and Lauren Doherty had a goal and an assist, including the game-winner with 4:05 remaining in the game. Izzy Augusta and Kayla Miles had assists and Riley Walter made three saves for Londonderry.

Maddie Gould scored for Dover (4-2) while Jeannine Turgeon had an assist and Kylie Nelson Marios had five saves.

**Bishop Guertin 1, Bedford 0 (OT)**

Sarah Coyle scored 2:26 into overtime to help the Cardinals (3-2) snap a two-game skid Saturday against the Bulldogs.

Britney Pearson assisted on the goal while Monina Tosi and Mackenna Reekie shared time in goal to earn the shutout.

**Souhegan 1, Plymouth 0**

The Bobcats came up short Friday in a defensive battle against the Sabers. Emma Webster and Gwen Merrifield played well for Plymouth (3-4).

### Girls Volleyball

**Hollis Brookline 3, Keene 0**

Sammie Sheppard had four aces and five digs and set a school record with her 1,013 career serve receive as the Cavs swept the Blackbirds on Friday. Scores were 25-8, 25-13 and 25-17.

Meaghan Coutu had three kills and three aces and Sophie Jordan added 14 assists and four aces. Ellie Jordan recorded eight digs and Sarah Dreyer had five kills while Lauren Ingraham had two aces.

**Bishop Guertin 3, Concord 2**

The Cardinals (3-3) picked up the win Friday over the Crimson Tide by scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-16, 23-25 and 15-12.

Emma Charron had eight aces and 23 digs for Bishop Guertin and Libby Knapp had 17 kills and 21 digs. Kristen Coumas dished out 30 assists and Alicia Glasheen added 20 assists.

Maddy Keating had 11 kills and five aces while Lydia Litvak recorded four blocks.

**Epping 3, Mascenic 0**

The Blue Devils got the win Friday against the Vikings by scores of 25-7, 25-12 and 25-20.

Hayley Pelletier had six aces, eight kills and 25 digs for Epping while Alexis Kailey had seven kills, three blocks and six digs. Jasmyne Bickford recorded 38 digs and six aces while Oakley Lustenberger had 23 assists, seven digs and an ace.

**Epping 3, Raymond 0**

The Blue Devils (3-1) won for the second time in as many days Saturday, sweeping the Rams by scores of 25-17, 25-7 and 25-13.

Bickford had 12 aces, 13 digs and two assists to lead Epping while Belle Snyder had eight kills, five digs and an ace. Lustenberger finished with 26 assists, nine digs, three kills and an ace.

**Newfound 3, Portsmouth Christian 0**

The Eagles dropped a D3 match on the road Friday by scores of 26-24, 25-20 and 25-22.

Becca Jones had six kills and two blocks for PCA (0-5) while Maddy Kniphfer had four aces and five digs. Joey Skubisz had four kills and six assists while Bella Ouellette had seven assists and Hannah Abraham had 13 digs.
