# Around the Granite State: Weekend Roundup

The Souhegan High School girls lacrosse team picked up a win in its home opener, holding off Londonderry for a 12-8 victory on Saturday.

Abby Cranney led the way for the Sabers (2-0) with four goals and two assists and Abby Hawkes added four goals of her own. Savannah Behn, Taylor Clark and O'Neill Galinson each had a goal and an assist for Souhegan.

Brigid Casey also had a goal and Nicole O'Rourke had an assist while Alex LaBrosse made seven saves in the win.

Londonderry (1-2) got two goals and an assist from Sarah Duarte while Catie Derhak also had two goals. Grace Chicko, Megan Jackes, Kaitlin Nartiff and Maddy Walden had a goal apiece. Morgan Brutus made five saves.

**Hollis Brookline 14, Kearsarge 5**

The Cavaliers picked up a win over the defending champs from Division III on Saturday, getting four goals from Paisley Broadhurst.

CeCe Fetter added three goals for HB (2-1) while Kelsey Sweeney and Tasha White added two goals each. Victoria Bruzik and Abbey Magnuszewski also had a goal apiece and Olivia Valentine made seven saves.

Caroline Smith, Reagan Berry, Dana Ulrich and Sydney Speir played well defensively, while the Cavs were 11 of 21 on draws and scored on six of nine free positions.

### Boys Lacrosse

**Windham 14, Merrimack 13**

The Jaguars picked up a win over the Division I Tomahawks, getting three goals and an assist from Tyler Folsom and a goal and five assists from Jack Rust.

Noah Rust also had three goals for Windham, while Nate Levine had two goals and an assist and Niko Piandes also scored twice. Leo Piandes added a goal and three assists while Cody Stevens and PJ Marsh chipped in with a goal each.
