# Around the Granite State: Wednesday's Roundup

The Concord High School field hockey team was able to hold off Pinkerton in the second half for a 1-0 win Wednesday in Division I action.

Emma Beaujouan scored a breakaway goal off an assist from Erin Doherty late in the first half for the Crimson Tide (9-3), who handed the Astros (10-1) their first loss of the season.

**Bishop Guertin 3, Nashua South 0**

Rylee Bouvier had a hat trick to lead the Cardinals (6-5) to a win over the Panthers (2-9) on Wednesday.

Lindsay Hult, Britney Pearson and Sarah Coyle each had an assist for Bishop Guertin while Monina Tosi and Makenna Reekie combined for four saves.

South got a big game from goalie Courtney Tello, who had 24 saves, and Maddie Rowe also played well defensively.

**Winnacunnet 3, Londonderry 2 (OT)**

Carolyn Thompson scored her second goal of the game in overtime Wednesday to give the Warriors (8-3) the win over the Lancers (9-3).

Thompson also scored in the first half, tying the game at 1, off an assist from Sam Crochetiere, and Sarah Blakenship scored in the second half to force overtime.

Jenna Madigan had both goals for Londonderry and Izzy Augusta had an assist. Riley Walter made eight saves.

**Plymouth 1, Portsmouth 0**

Olivia Eastman scored 10 minutes into the game for the Bobcats (5-6) and they made it hold up Tuesday in a win over the Clippers (3-7-1) in D2 action.

Gabby Karntakosol got an assist on the goal while Molly Edmark played well in goal and Katie Lambert was solid in the midfield.

### Girls Volleyball

**Hollis Brookline 3, Timberlane 0**

The Cavaliers (13-0) continued to cruise, sweeping the Owls (6-7) on Wednesday by scores of 25-6, 25-20 and 25-10.

Kaleigh Whalen had five aces and nine kills for HB and Hanna Close added eight kills. Maren Anderson also had eight kills and added 13 digs while Angelina Leonard had 28 assists and Sammie Sheppard had 11 digs and two aces.

The Cavs hosted their annual fundraiser for the Kendall Van Schoick Memorial Scholarship Fund, and raised over $400 for a graduating senior who plans to pursue educational opportunities after high school.

**Epping 3, Belmont 0**

The Blue Devils (9-2) picked up another win by scores of 25-12, 25-19 and 25-19.

Hayley Pelletier had 12 kills, one ace and 26 digs for Epping and Belle Snyder added five kills, eight digs and one ace. Gracie Re had 10 kills, 16 digs and three aces and Oakley Lustenberger had 31 assists, five digs and one kill.

**Portsmouth Christian 3, Raymond 2**

The Eagles (4-7) battled through a five-set match to beat the Rams, with scores of 25-20, 25-13, 21-25, 25-27 and 15-7.

Becca Jones had nine kills for PCA and Joey Skubisz had six aces and five kills. Lindsey Hatfield also had five kills and Emily Esters recorded 11 assists and four aces.

Hannah Abraham had seven digs while Maddy Kniphfer and Josie Hewitt had five digs apiece.
