# Around the Granite State: Wednesday's Roundup

Jenna Madigan broke a tie game with her goal in the second half and the Londonderry High School girls field hockey team defeated Bedford 2-1 in Division I action on Wednesday.

Courtney Shay assisted on the goal and also had one of her own in the first half that tied the game at 1\. Kayla Miles also had an assist for the Lancers (8-2) while Riley Walter made two saves.

Sophie Pothuru had the lone goal for Bedford (2-6-1), giving the Bulldogs the lead 12 minutes into the game. Regan Brown had an assist on the goal while Rachel Noble made seven saves.

**Manchester Memorial 3, Nashua South 2**

The Panthers got out to a 2-0 lead, but couldn't hang on against the Crusaders (4-6).

Kirsten McIntire had two goals for South (2-8) while Maddie Sewade and Sarah Signorello each added an assist. Courtney Tello made 12 saves for the Panthers.

**Concord 2, Bishop Guertin 1**

Emma Beaujouan and Jordan Cromwell each had a goal to lead the Crimson Tide (7-3) to the win over the Cardinals (4-5).

Erin Doherty had two assists for Concord.

Sarah Coyle had the lone goal for Bishop Guertin.

### Girls Volleyball

**Hollis Brookline 3, Manchester Central 0**

The Cavaliers improved to 10-0 in Division I with a sweep of the Little Green (1-9). Game scores were 25-6, 25-13 and 25-9.

Ellie Jordan had five aces for HB while Lydia Daskalos and Emily Sartell had four kills apiece. Sophie Jordan had 11 assists.

**Bishop Guertin 3, Alvirne 1**

The Cardinals (6-4) won their third D1 match in a row, beating the Broncos by scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-16 and 25-14.

Libby Knapp had 19 kills, nine aces and 17 digs for Bishop Guertin and Lydia Litvak added 10 kills and three blocks.

Kristen Coumas had three aces and 24 assists while Meghan Stack had five kills an two blocks and Dominique Von Muhlenbrock Rodriguez added 19 digs.

**Nashua South 3, Pinkerton 2**

The Astros (9-1) dropped their first D1 match of the season, as the Panthers (10-0) won the final set 17-15.

Ella Dandrade had 13 kills and 30 digs and Ellie Cashman had 12 service points for Pinkerton. Nicole Valcourt added four blocks and Ella Koelb had 32 assists.

**Epping 3, Trinity 0**

The Blue Devils improved to 7-2 in Division III with a sweep of the Pioneers. Scores were 25-12, 25-5 and 25-11.

Gracie Re had three aces, nine kills and three digs for Epping while Belle Snyder added 10 aces, three kills and seven digs. Alexis Kailey had an ace and seven kills and Hayley Pelletier added five kills and six digs.

### Boys Soccer

**Lebanon 5, Souhegan 0**

The Raiders improved to 7-1 in Division II with the shutout of the Sabers (1-7) on Tuesday.

Tyler St. Martin had two goals and Logan Falzarano had a goal and two assists to lead Lebanon. Nathan Magari also had a goal and Sam Twarog recorded an assist while Jorgen Leuthauser and Ryan Tanski combined to make seven saves.

Souhegan got nine saves from Jake Morrisette and Ryan Lockitt.
