Around the Granite State: Wednesday's Playoff Roundup
The No. 2 Souhegan High School girls lacrosse team advanced to the Division I semifinals with a 14-3 win over No. 7 Nashua South.
Taylor Clark had four goals to lead the Sabers (17-2) while Brigid Casey had three goals and two assists and O'Neill Galinson added a goal and three assists.
Abby Cranney also had two goals while Ozzie Aiello had a goal and an assist and Savannah Behn, Abby Hawkes and Sammi Jay had a goal apiece. Alex LaBrosse made three saves for Souhegan.
Kirsten McIntire led South (8-9) with two goals while Paige Garland added a goal and Liz Harrington recorded an assist. Abbey Rowe made 10 saves and Hannah Dumaine, Tara Saliany, Izzy Bolduc, Sarah Signorello, Laura Galvez and Bailey Morin all played well defensively.
No. 1 Pinkerton 16, No. 8 Londonderry 5
Kiley Davis scored four goals as the top-seeded Astros advanced to the D1 semifinals with their third win of the year against the Lancers.
Lauren Lisauskas added three goals and five assists for Pinkerton (17-1) and Lilly Auger also had three goals and an assist. Meaghan Michaud and Madison Peredna each scored twice while Hailey Peredna and Amy Quigley added a goal each.
Dani Martineau made nine saves and Alyssa Labonte stopped three shots.
No. 4 Hollis Brookline 15, No. 5 Windham 9
The Cavaliers advanced to the semifinals for the first time since 2010 with a win over the Jaguars.
CeCe Fetter led the way for HB (12-5) with six goals and an assist while Abbey Magnuszewski had three goals and Kelsey Sweeney added two goals and three assists.
Paisley Broadhurst also had two goals while Rachel Cerato (assist), Tasha White and Reagan Berry added a goal apiece. Olivia Valentine made nine saves and Caroline Smith, Dana Ulrich and Sidney Speir played well defensively.

The Jaguars advanced to the D2 quarterfinals with the win over the Bobcats.
Tyler Folsom led the way with six goals and two assists for Windham (14-5) while Jake Rust had four goals and an assist. Noah Rust added a goal and four assists and Nate Levine and Niko Piandes scored a goal apiece.
