Around the Granite State: Tuesday's Roundup (video)

Colin Kimball turned in a day to remember Tuesday as the Winnacunnet High School boys lacrosse team beat Timberlane 17-6, handing the Owls their first loss of the season.

Kimball had seven goals and two assists while Tucker McCann added four goals for the Warriors (3-1), who jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first quarter. Caleb White added a goal and two assists and Ryan Ciolfi had two goals and an assist.

Joe Larrabee, Tanyon Ziolkowski and Kyle Tilley also had a goal apiece and Naish Kelly had four saves.

Braidon Bowman led Timberlane (5-1, No. 5 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll), with three goals and an assist and Eric George and Austin Charest had a goal and an assist each. Ethan Gerry also scored and Brady Marsten made 17 saves.

Girls Lacrosse

No. 1 Bishop Guertin 21, Merrimack 4

The Cardinals had 14 players scored goals against the Tomahawks, led by Nat Coutu, who had three goals and two assists.

Rylee Bouvier, Anna Campel, Tess Prunier and Steph Reap had two goals and an assist apiece while Kyra O'Connell also had two goals and Deb Moyer had three assists. Abbey Dicomes, Ari Kouchalakos and Abbey Cannon added a goal and an assist each.

Katie Campel, Jordan Geabel, Lauren Redfern, Kam Schmitt and Sophia Alton each chipped in with a goal and Mikhaila Mendell added an assist.
