# Around the Granite State: Tuesday's Roundup

The Bishop Guertin High School boys lacrosse team scored 10 goals in the second quarter on the way to a 19-11 win over Londonderry on Tuesday.

Dawson Clark had five goals and two assists and Michael Kiely had four goals and a helper to lead the Cardinals, who led 15-2 at halftime. JJ Murphy won 16 of 20 faceoffs while Nick McGovern added two goals and two assists and Brady Dumont had two goals and an assist.

Jon Krikorian and Tim Kiely had two goals apiece while Tanner McGlaughlin and Sebastian Zeman had a goal each. John Sullivan had three assists and Declan Wilkie and Chris Heitmiller each had two assists. Aiden Laurendeau added an assist while Zach Connerty (four saves), Dylan Steward (three) and Matt Peicker (two) split time in goal.

The teams meet again at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Stellos Stadium.

**Portsmouth 11, Windham 5**

Alex Ryan had three goals for the Jaguars, but it wasn't enough in a home loss to the Clippers.

Drew Denton had a goal and an assist and Sawyer Hall also scored for Windham. Nate Levine added an assist.

**Laconia 10, Gilford 9**

Evan Rollins led the way for the Sachems with four goals while Evan Carignan added three goals.

Cole Roy had two goals and two assists and Lucas Beane chipped in with a goal and a helper. Cam Harriman made 14 saves.

### Girls Lacrosse

**Nashua South 17, Manchester Central 0**

Olivia Johnson had three goals and five assists to lead the Panthers to the shutout win.

Kaitlyn West and Maddy Matylewski also had three goals apiece while Ella Benzariki had two goals. Maya Rioux, Bella Walsh, Soleil Dubois, Kylie Dawe, Nessa Reeder and Aryanna Murray also had a goal apiece.

Audrey Mullaney and Keira Walsh split time in goal and each had a save.

**Pinkerton 19, Salem 0 (Monday)**

Abby Jowett had five goals and an assist to lead the Astros to the win over the Blue Devils.

Amy Quigley added three goals and three assists while Caroline Daziel finished with three goals and two assists and Ali Lamphere had three goals and an assist. Catilyn Seleny had two goals and Tatum Howe had a goal and three assists while Justine Doyle had a goal and an assist.

Belle Pinardi scored her first varsity goal for Pinkerton and Peyton Knowlton had her first varsity assist. Lauren Sweeney and Naomi Menczywor (1 save) split time in goal.

### Boys Volleyball

**Hollis Brookline 3, Bishop Guertin 1**

The Cavaliers opened the season with a win, beating the Cardinals by scores of 25-18, 25-22, 26-28 and 25-21.

Jake Laborde had 21 kills and four aces to lead HB while John Sommer had 10 kills. Brian Szewczyk had four kills and two aces and Max Marshall had four aces and 44 assists.
